Double glued achromatic lens is composed of two lenses with different refractive index and dispersion, which are generally bonded by corona glass positive lens with low dispersion and flint glass negative lens with high dispersion. It can correct chromatic aberration and spherical aberration, and is suitable as a collimator lens for laser. In the design, the dispersion and lens formation were optimized in blue (486.1 nm), green (546.1 nm) and red (656.3 nm) bands to achieve the minimum chromatic aberration. Besides the chromatic aberration of object points on the axis, the coma aberration or astigmatism off the axis can also be well corrected, which can be used in imaging systems such as objective lens of telescope or imaging lens of microscope.
