TH series temperature sensors provide a reliable means for monitoring the temperature in rock, concrete, soil or fill.

Product description

Temperature sensors are available in three different models: TH-T, TH-PT100 and TH-TC.

TH-T temperature sensor uses a 3 k Ω chip thermistor. This thermistor is encapsulated and sealed in a stainless steel or PVC cylinder with two wires connected for reading. The TH-T incorporates the standard thermistor used in most vibrating wire sensors.

TH-PT100 temperature sensor consists of a platinum resistor which is highly sensitive to temperature. Platinum is suitable because it is stable at high temperature. Using portable bridge measuring instrument or data acquisition system to measure four-wire or three-wire bridge has better measurement resolution. This temperature sensor is encapsulated in a stainless steel cylinder, which can be grouted and has strain resistance.

TH-TC temperature sensor is a thermocouple composed of a single pair of AWG24 solid thermocouple wires, which are covered with 0.38 mm thick insulation layer and encapsulated in PVC sheath. It is usually connected to an extension cord, which is then connected to the reader. This thermocouple and extension cord are made of copper-constantan alloy (T-type).
