Vaisala WXT520 multifunctional meteorological monitoring system is an upgraded model of the original Vaisala WXT510, which can monitor six meteorological elements such as wind speed, wind direction, temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure and rainfall in real time. WXT520 is small in size, compact in structure and easy to install, which is very suitable for weather stations, buildings, docks, harbors, outdoor activity places and other places that need to monitor the current weather in real time.
 
The built-in Vaisala WINDCAP sensor in WXT520 uses ultrasonic waves to measure horizontal wind speed and direction. The measurement of rainfall is completed by Vaisala RAINCAP sensor, which uses raindrops to impact the sensor surface to realize real-time monitoring of rainfall, rainfall intensity, duration and other information. Compared with traditional rainfall bucket, it has unparalleled advantages. The PTU module endows WXT520 with the ability to monitor atmospheric pressure, temperature and relative humidity in real time. WXT520 has heating function, which can not only compensate and correct the temperature of wind speed, wind direction and rainfall, but also prevent the influence of water vapor, ice and fog on the measurement to ensure the accuracy of the measurement data.
 
WXT520 is equipped with many types of data transmission interfaces, which can support SDI-12, USB, RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485, etc. It is very convenient for users to collect, sort and analyze measurement data. The WXT520 has low power consumption and can be powered by solar energy, so that it can work normally in distant areas. It is also very convenient to install and use, and can be quickly installed by a single person by using the matching mounting bracket (optional).
