A reflective neutral filter whose transmittance can be changed by rotating the filter. It can be used for measuring experiments requiring light quantity adjustment or gray scale adjustment when shooting images with cameras. The amount of light can be continuously adjusted to obtain arbitrary brightness. The relative adjustment amount of transmittance is logarithmic, and the light amount can be easily adjusted. The filter is very thin and can be inserted into a small slit in the optical system.
