Ordinary beam splitting prism only considers energy beam splitting without considering polarization state. The requirements of incident light are: 45 linearly polarized light, circularly polarized light and natural light, that is, the S component and P component must be approximately equal (the difference is less than 5%). The two outgoing beams are partially polarized light with approximately equal energy. It is not suitable for systems where the light source has polarization characteristics.
