Zinc sulfide (ZnS) is a very important optical crystal used in far infrared band, which can be rapidly hot-pressed. The transmittance range of chemical phase deposited zinc sulfide is 1 μ m-14 μ m, with high transmittance and low absorption. Multi-spectral stage improves the transmittance of mid-infrared and visible light by hot isostatic pressing process.
