Diffractive beam shaping is usually used to adjust the spatial intensity and phase change of laser to obtain ideal output spot or energy density, and diffractive optical elements are necessary devices to realize beam shaping. Through diffractive optical elements, we can shape the Gaussian beam of laser into a flat-topped beam and get consistent energy output in a certain spot range.
Advantages: excellent energy uniformity, up to 95% diffraction efficiency, square or circular spot output of any size, wavelength range covering 193nm-1064nm, Corning Shi Ying glass to ensure good stability and high power occasions, and the size matches the existing optical path system.
Applications: Fine processing of laser materials, such as welding, cutting, scribing, drilling, lighting, light sensing and communication.
Requirements: Good Gaussian integration forms flat-topped light, which requires good single-mode incident light. M2 is less than 1.3. And the beam waist size of the incident beam spot is consistent with the design size of DOE, and the position of DOE is placed at the beam waist. With F-THEATA lens at the back, the required size of light spot can be obtained near the focal plane. The spot size is related to the focal length of the lens.
