(1) Simple, funnel-like design and only RF voltage make this system can focus the compound ions well without adjusting the compound
(2) The number of instrument maintenance is significantly reduced, thus increasing the normal service time of the instrument. Compared with the traditional layered lens funnel design, the spatial geometry design of IQ double ion funnel improves the movement of background gas, thus reducing surface pollution.
 
More peace of mind: Atmospheric pressure ionization (API) interface based on taper hole design is more durable, and samples with complex matrix can be analyzed with peace of mind.
Pursue high sensitivity, high stability, simple operation and low maintenance requirements. The taper hole design ensures that ions can quickly pass through the taper hole to reach the vacuum chamber and enter the double ion funnel system in the shortest time. At the same time, a back-blown dry gas (cone gas) is included in the cone hole to prevent the non-ionized droplets from entering the vacuum system. A key factor affecting the high sensitivity is to minimize the time for ions to travel from the spray chamber to the double ion funnel in the first-stage vacuum system. The tapered hole design is to make the transmission process more efficient.
 
More Efficient: Innovative vacuum interlayer (VIP) heated electrospray needle can withstand higher flow rate, thus analyzing thermally unstable compounds more efficiently. It can make some thermally unstable molecules fully ionized when passing through ESI ion source at high flow rate, such as nitrogen-containing compounds, saccharides and some polypeptides. This innovative technology provides an insulated flow path for liquid eluent. This insulating flow path can shield unwanted temperature fluctuations when the liquid phase gradient changes.
(1) Efficient ceramic heating module, equipped with temperature control technology, provides more efficient temperature transfer for capillary needles.
(2) Vacuum insulation, which prevents boiling of the liquid mobile phase before it is atomized.
(3) Liquid cooling path before atomization, which is an essential device to prevent the decomposition of some thermally unstable compounds.
