10 Technical Advantages of C-ROM:
 
1. C-ROM greatly simplifies the delivery and recovery of marine instruments. The recovery of C-ROM is very reliable. After the underwater releaser is released, the valuable instruments and equipment and releaser immediately surface with the floating body, and all of them are safely recovered; (After the traditional floating ball is released, the submarine instruments and equipment are still at risk of being lost.)
 
2. C-ROM protects valuable instruments and equipment well: the releaser and marine instruments are installed in the barrel-shaped floating body and protected by the barrel-shaped floating body, which is very safe and not easy to be damaged in all links, including installation, transportation, delivery, seabed and recovery;
 
3. The purchase cost of C-ROM is low, excluding the duty-free price of releasers and instruments of RMB 30,000 ~ 80,000;
 
4. C-ROM composite foam plastic and polyethylene material, which is non-corrosive for life and has a service life of more than 30 years. C-ROM is suitable for the deployment of ADCP of acoustic Doppler velocity profiler, because the net buoyancy of C-ROM is large, and ADCP is always kept vertical upward (ordinary tripod may tilt on the seabed), which can effectively ensure the high quality of velocity profile data and wave height data; If used in high current environments, it provides an oval C-ROM, which greatly reduces the swing and noise caused by the impact and drag of ocean currents.
 
8. The water depth of the standard C-ROM is 750 meters, which is suitable for most offshore and continental shelf waters; Customizable deep sea models: 2500, 3500 and 6000 meters.
 
9. C-ROM has compact structure, with a diameter of 63.5 cm and a height of 60 ~ 66 cm, which occupies a small deck area. 20 ~ 30 C-ROMs can be deployed at one time, thus reducing the delivery cost.
 
10. The normal mode of C-ROM can prevent ordinary fishing nets. If installed on the bottom trawl-proof base, it can prevent bottom trawl nets. It can also be equipped with a cable for recovery anchor (up to 500 meters long) to recover the base.
